What are the products offered?
The Wisdom Portfolio This portfolio is a concentrated Portfolio of up to 25 stocks/ETFs. This is an active investment strategy and we would be investing across the market capitalization spectrum following a bottom up stock picking approach. We follow a mix of technical and fundamental parameters while selecting the stocks which can be seen in our investment philosophy., The Wisdom ETF Portfolio In this portfolio we would make wise asset allocation bets in promising exchange traded funds listed on NSE. This portfolio is a passive investment strategy and is best suited for systematic investing.,
What is their investment philosophy?
For The Wisdom Portfolio the stock selection Universe is NIFTY 500. For Quality we will screen stocks with or potential to provide high ROCEs/ROAs and stocks which show consistency in cashflow generation (Operating/Free Cashflow). For valuation (Entry points) we follow technical parameters like (but not restricted to) Pattern breakouts, Relative Strength Index, Money Flow Index, Daryl Guppy MMA and Fibonacci Retracements., The Wisdom ETF Portfolio would consist of 10-15 ETFs listed on NSE. We would take asset allocation bets by incorporating promising ETFs in Equity International, Cash, Debt and Gold Segments. For changing the weights in the ETFs on rebalancing dates we would follow technical parameters like (but not restricted to) Pattern breakouts, Relative Strength Index, Money Flow Index, Daryl Guppy MMA and Fibonacci Retracements.,
What is a smallcase?
A smallcase is a basket of stocks/ETFs* in a specified weighting scheme that reflects a certain objective (ideas, themes, strategies), backed by the research of Solomon Investments. You can invest in a smallcase in 2 clicks., *ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) are baskets of securities that track an underlying index (Nifty, Gold, etc) and can be bought and sold on the exchange.
Who can subscribe to these smallcases?
Solomon Investments decides who can invest in the smallcases created by them and can create two types of smallcases:, Exclusive smallcases : smallcases which require a subscription to Solomon Investments’s Advisory in order to invest in the smallcase. You can subscribe to a smallcase directly from the smallcase profile through the subscription form., Public smallcases : smallcases in which anyone who has an account with our partner brokers can invest. You can invest in this smallcase by clicking on “Buy smallcase” in the smallcase profile and logging with your broker credentials.,
How do I track my smallcases?
When you buy a smallcase, the index value is set to 100 on the buy day - this helps you track the total returns without having to monitor each stock. You can also use the performance metrics to get a more detailed understanding of your smallcase.
Are there lock-in periods?
There are no lock-in periods, so you may sell your smallcases anytime. As a concept however, smallcases work best when used for long-term investing.
